Yvonne was born and raised in Bullhead City, Arizona. Even though her roots are well planted in the Mohave Desert her heart belongs to the world.

Travelling all over the United States she has had the privilege of visiting forty-six states thus far and has traveled into Canada. She loves to swim and the beach is one of her favorite places which is reflected in her artwork. She loves to paint the ocean and everything tropical, especially turtles.

She began painting and drawing in elementary school over 35 years ago after watching Bob Ross on television. Since picking up that first brush she has worked in various mediums including oils, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, charcoal, scratch board, photography and even icing. Yes, she is an accomplished cake artist as well. She studied art in high school taking as many art classes as they would allow. This is when she discovered her current favorite living artist, Robert Wyland and turned to him for inspiration. Her art is pure talent and persistence; the old saying, “practice makes perfect” is reflected in her artwork daily.

She was blessed to become a Mother in 1996, and became a Grandmother in 2018. She enjoys her time with family the most. Taking trips with her family to various National Parks is one of her favorite travel destinations.

She draws inspiration from her travels and desires to bring joy to others while bringing awareness of the beauty that surrounds us and our part in protecting it.
